CSA Box Program
Green Life Farm is offering an 15 week Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Box Program. Enrolling in the CSA program you, the buyer, will purchase a share or subscription up front before the farm has begun its new season. Most of the cost that the farmer will incur happens in the very early spring before crops are being harvested. For example: purchase of seeds, wages for workers, fuel, advertising, etc. By subscribing to our box program you are helping us with the capital when it is needed most.
In return, the farmer will give you a box of veggies for 15 weeks starting around mid June (or when weather permits). By the end of the 15 weeks the amount of food you received should equal or supersede the amount of money you paid for the subscription. Depending on the time of season you should receive 10 items in your weekly box.
Below I have listed items that you could see in your box throughout the 15 weeks. If you would like to participate in our CSA program for 2020, please fill out the order form at the bottom of the page. The total for the CSA program is $500 but you are guaranteed $550 of produce throughout the season (10% more). It is on a first-come, first-served basis as we only have a limited number of shares. Once shares have been filled, your name will go on a waiting list. We look forward to doing business with you!
